It's almost 2 weeks now since we came back from Maine and I apologize things have been hectic on my end but I know there is always time to update my blog and that time has come. Before I fly to Houston tomorrow, I suppose you need to hear something from me.
I always look forward to trips to Maine. For one, it is our home. There is really no place like home. 9 days was our longest stay so far but always too short to enjoy the many winter recreations one should experience while in Bethel. Skiing and snow boarding are two of the things that my husband finds relaxing and looks forward doing while were home but the scores of chores that needs our attention consumed most of our days.
We did not ski and ride but we accomplished a lot in this trip. Our skating rink like drive way had been paved and shoveled of the snow that has accumulated during the winter season. Since we rented the house and made the basement our home, we managed to add little bits of pieces to it to make it habitable. This time our newest addition was the running water in the bathroom and it cut short the exercise that we have been doing since – that is lifting a bucket of water from the furnace room to the bathroom. Good exercise, you have to see my arms..haha.
2 weeks after our Maine visit and were back here in Arcadia. The weather is smoldering hot but hey, we're in Florida. It won't be called Sunshine State for nothing. At least my plants are getting back to life and I am starting a new herb and vegetable garden again. Wish me luck in the green department.
Tomorrow I am flying to Houston Texas for a week and I will keep you updated.

Let is Snow!
Were back in Maine for 9 days since friday. I just couldnt believe the mountains of snow that greeted us starting at the airport up to the roads leading to Bethel. It was raining torrentially that aggravated the condition of our driveway that was already becoming a skating rink. Greg has been shovelling since we came and been sanding our steepy driveway. Today, we are getting 12 inches more of snow. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! When will it ever end? I'm already looking forward to Spring.
