Sleeping is probably my most favorite activity of the day, oh, next to eating. Why not? It is the only time our body and mind are in complete surrender, no worries just total relaxation. Seriously, we need sleep, just as our body needs nourishment, we need rest. And I make sure I get all that. It is during this time that our body regenerates tissues and hormones necessary so that our body and mind function properly. We need enough sleep for health and well being.
Millions of people all over the world do not get enough sleep and suffer from sleep deprivation. Fortunately, I never had any problem sleeping. My husband does. There are many factors that affect the quality of sleep. One of them is stress. Stress is the primary reason of my husband's sleeplessness but something that can be remedied by creating a relaxing environment at work or at home.
