Make your own sprouts

Did you ever grow your own sprout?

It is very easy to sprout any vegetable, grains and beans at home. Sprouts are packed with enormous essential nutrients and minerals beneficial to your health. They can be added to salads, or adds zest to any dish you desire. I have enjoyed sprouting just about anything. I tried mung bean and lentils, both tastes good when eaten raw but I like lentils the most because I find it more convenient because I don't have to discard the cover unlike mung bean. You can sprout just about any seed: alfalfa, broccoli, raddish, cabbage, beans, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, corn, rice, wheat. All of them are packed with nutrients and beneficial to well being.

Start with your favorite seed. Start with ½ cup of beans or vegetable seed. Soak in water overnight. In a container lined with paper towels, rest the seeds and cover. Keep in dark place and rinse twice a day until it reached your desired length. On the last day, take it our in the sun to ecourage leaves to grow and develop gree pigments. Store in the fridge.

There you go, you now have sprouts. It is as easy as 1-2-3.

Have fun sprouting and enjoy a delicious and healthy meal. Yummy!
